As part of EGEC – Energy Global Expo and Congress 2025, taking place from November 11 to 13 at Feria Valencia, the call is now open for activity proposals for the Innovation Stage, a key platform for sharing knowledge, applied innovation, and transformative experiences in the energy and environmental sectors.
Application for Innovation Stage Activities
In addition to the ongoing calls (see below for more information), the submission period is still open for organizations, technology centers, companies, universities, and entities from the energy ecosystem to propose workshops, technology demonstrations, technical talks, or hands-on sessions as part of the official EGEC 2025 program.
- Educational or outreach workshops
- Technology or prototype demonstrations
- Technical talks or success stories
- Interactive or pedagogically driven hands-on sessions
These activities will be held on-site, with an estimated duration of 20 to 40 minutes, and will take place over the three days of the event on the Innovation Stage, located within the main exhibition area.

The hackathon call is now open for university students with innovative proposals in the energy and environmental fields. The initiative aims to foster young talent and connect the academic world with real-world industry challenges. It is focused on recognizing Bachelor’s or Master’s theses (TFG/TFM) that propose sustainable solutions, ideas for a just energy transition, or clean technologies with transformative potential — offering students the opportunity to present their work to companies, investors, and industry experts.

The international call is now open for technology-driven and socially impactful startups developing solutions with direct application in the fields of energy, sustainability, and the environment. This call is aimed at startups less than seven years old, with a minimum viable product (MVP) or already in the commercialization phase, and with a clear application in the energy or environmental sectors.
